Responsibility 

  • Demonstrates advanced understanding of development processes and product launch scope and activities. Utilize experience and knowledge to identify, recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Leading the project meetings to make sure the whole team is on the same page. Enforce deliberate decision and suitable execution plan with a view to avoid the hindrances and malfunctioning of the project.
  • Implement engineering change, formulating engineering verification plan, backup plan and the recovery plan with the help from the team. Embrace continual review, analysis, and changes to support program outcome.
  • Monitor activities of critical suppliers , manage delivery plans and evaluate capacity in a dynamic environment to meet production demands.
  • Quality issue handling and risk assessment, contributing information and recommendations to approach problems based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Captures status updates and interprets inputs from the team to assemble a consolidated view of status. 
  • Concise summaries and escalate the important matters. Owns ensuring alignment from key leaders of milestone achievement before moving the program forward.

Qualifications 

  • Degree in Engineering (BS/MS) or equivalent education.
  • 3+ years experience in Project Management or Technical program management.
  • 2+ years experience in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields
  • Good understanding of Bills of Material/ Bills of Documents, as well as skills of change management.
  • Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes (metal stamping, extrusions, castings, forgings, welding, plastic injection molding, printing, painting, anodizing and so on.
  • Be able to prioritize tasks logically and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work and achieve goals in a fast-paced start-up environment with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence partners and teams.
  • Logical, Proactive, Positive, Highly motivated and independently.
  • Fluent in both speaking and writing in English
 

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge concerning material properties.
  • Basic understanding about Statistical Analysis, Tolerance analysis(TA) and quality control -CP/CPK
  • Familiar with all kinds of measuring instruments and tools.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with core development team,  mechanical vendor and CM.
  • Experience work on complex projects with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
  • Act as a leading team member in the development of fulfillment strategies throughout the entire product lifecycle
