Responsibilities
- Mainly focus on UniFi-Access product line device firmware development
- Design and develop new features and functionalities to extend product capabilities
- Maintain and improve firmware for existing Access product devices
- Perform code reviews, ensuring best practices in coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product planning and development
- Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for firmware issues.
- Work closely with BSP, 3A, HW, ID, Backend, Mobile,FE, PM and PA Team
Requirements
- A genuine passion for embedded software development
- Good understanding and experience with SoC(Linux), MCU(Cortex-M) platforms
- Expertise in C programming, specifically for embedded systems
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Git version control
- A team player, who is very self-motivated, loves difficult challenges, and is goal driven
- Strong communication skills, able to work both solo and in teams
- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Experience with development boards such as Raspberry Pi, BeagleBoard, ESP32
- Experience with build system such as OpenWRT/BuildRoot/Yocto
- Knowledge of NFC, BLE, WiFi, Security, Golang, and MCU is a plus
- Familiar with standard hardware protocols (gpio, usb, uart, pwm, flash, spi, i2c, ...)
